A Belt Alignment unit is positioned at the side of a conveyor belt and provides alignment protection by the use of a vertical ceramic roller operating a rotary switch via an internal pneumatic timer.  The mechanism is such that latching or non latching of this trip can be obtained.

The pnuematic time delay is user adjustable and overcomes spurious wander of the belt during start-up and run operations. In addition, a spring operated keyswitch is fitted to the unit to bypass  the alignment trip for maintenance purposes or to aid reversing a misaligned conveyor.

Various models are available:

A Model "K" version will connect  directly into our TW15KS long line lockout system. These units provide a lockout on the conveyor and an Identification Number on the TW15KS console when misalignment ocurs.

A Model "S" version will connect directly into our six channel TW15KS Monitor unit. The "S" version does not provide an individual              Identification Number when misalignment occurs but instead causes the Monitor unit to provide both a trip and a common I.D. number.
