Description
This version of the Intercom provides an outdoor  robust, vandalproof communication unit similar in functionality to the 2 wire AIPHONE LE-DA series intercom.
Usually used in EMERGENCY applications, the Intercom unit can be custom configured and labeled for HELP or ASSISTANCE.
The Intercom is connected to one of the 8 ports of  the 25000 series Intercom card  and allows handsfree communication from the Intercom to an outside telephone user. Multiple Intercoms can be connected to the 8 channel  card.
Made of #14AWG stainless steel, the Intercom houses a 3.5" diameter weatherproof speaker , pcb and a 30mm dia. vandal resistant stainless steel pushbutton. Tamperproof hardware is also used to secure the front cover to the backbox.

The weatherproof Intercom speaker acts as both as a microphone and a speaker and a twisted pair cable connects the Intercom to the Intercom controller.

Architects and Engineers Specifications

The Emergency Intercom Station shall be a Minelec 25200/I or approved equal. The Intercom shall be manufactured from #14AWG stainless steel and have conduit knockouts both in the rear and bottom of the enclosure. The Intercom shall be powder coat painted in 'Safety Yellow' and shall provide appropriate Black and White Emergency labels on each side and  the front panel. The activation button shall be 30mm. in diameter, stainless steel and vandal resistant. The Intercom shall feature a termination pcb fitted with screw terminals and all electronic components and shall be tropicalized. A 45ohm 3.5" diameter weatherproof speaker shall act as both a microphone and a speaker and shall be capable of providing a minimum of 0.5w. audio output. Tamperproof Torx T25 10-32 screws shall be used to fasten front panel to rear enclosure.

The dimensions of the enclosure shall be 13"H x 8.6"W x 4.75"D and shall weigh 7.5lbs.
