The keypad operated telephone shall be a Minelec M61
527 441 or approved equal. The telephone enclosure and front
panel shall be manufactured from die cast aluminum and #14AWG
stainless steel respectively. The enclosure shall have a 1/2"
NPT conduit knockout in each end of the enclosure. The
telephone shall be fitted with a chrome plated weatherproof
keypad with Braille embossed buttons. The telephone pcb shall
be conformal coated and use surface mount components and shall
include a microprocessor. The telephone shall provide an
automatic off-hook timer that places the telephone 'on-hook'
even if the handset remains off-hook. An electronic high
output 90v ac warble tone ringer shall be fitted complete a
stainless protective grille. The telephone pcb. shall
incorporate color coded screw terminals for all user
terminations. The telephone shall operate when drawing 16ma.
loop current. The color of the outer enclosure is powder
coat GRAY.
The dimensions of the enclosure shall be 12.6"H
x 9.375"W x 7.45"D and shall weigh 6.2lbs.
