The MINCON-8 Concentrator  is a microprocessor based device that allows up to 8 telephone devices (Emergency telephones) to access a single outgoing telephone line (C.O.)
If the MINCON-8 detects any off-hook device it will automatically connect to the C.O. line. The MINCON-8 is capable of being programmed with Autodial numbers to dial any pre-programmed number. If the C.O. line is already in use, a simulated busy tone is provided to other off-hook devices.

When used with our Emergency telephones and Mintel Head end equipment, Identification Codes can be provided to automatically identify the location of the MINCON-8 and associated off-hook telephone. If a second or subsequent telephone is activated,  the   MINCON-8 automatically issues corresponding I.D. codes.
The MINCON-8 provides Status LEDS on the front cover to assist in fault finding as well as to  identify the port which is active.
Under password control  all functions and autodial numbers can be programmed remotely.
Incoming calls from the C.O. line can be routed to any of the 8 X connected devices or to the  MINCON-8 programming menu. Two digital inputs and RS232 data link  connection activates system programming.
