The train message controller can be powered from a
supply voltage range of 55-85v dc. The DC-DC converter supplies a 12v & 5v output to power the MP3 player and the on- board microprocessor and optional LCD display.
Operation is simple:
The station list automatically starts at the departing station, or else the user can select the required
station destination using the PREVIOUS and NEXT buttons to scroll the list. The selection arrow
indicates the desired choice. Next press the
SELECT button to automatically activate the
associated MP3 file and automatically scroll to the next station name.
If the train direction is changed, press the
PREVIOUS and NEXT buttons simultaneously to reverse the auto scrolling of the list.
If a Special message file is required, select the
Special Message button to select the menu. Use the PREVIOUS and NEXT buttons to scroll the
messages. Press the SELECT button to issue the associated file. The same message name will
remain on the display to allow the operator to
repeat the message if required.

The Message Generator can also provide an
optional independent alarm display using LED's.

Customized versions can be designed to meet
specific customer needs.
