The TW15KS Combined Termination Unit (C.T.U.) is used in association with the TW15KS signaling system to provide end of line termination for both the Signal and PSW systems when both systems are installed as a single cable installation.

The Signal oscillator provides the required signal to allow the "head end" TW15KS console to
detect the state of the interconnecting pullcable. Any cable fault or applied lockout at a "lockout" key or appropriate "field device" will cause the TW15KS console to respond the absence of the signal and stop the conveyor.

The PSW oscillator receives signals from the TW15KS console when Pre-Start Warning is
required, and in turn produces a warning tone which is returned to the console through the
interconnecting "lockout" cable. At strategic intervals along the conveyor, the PSW tone is
amplified and then broadcast along the conveyor length. The PSW tone is monitored by the TW15KS console for both correct tone and
duration of tone prior to the Conveyor start circuit being completed. Any failure of detection at the console will prevent the conveyor from starting.
