The TW15KS Monitor can be used in a TW15KS "lockout" system to monitor external field devices installed in a conveyor protection scheme.

The Monitor supervises the status of up to six field devices (limit switches, speed switches, block chute detectors etc.) and interfaces them to the TW15KS control unit. Each input has an            associated LED which will locally indicate the status of an activated field device. Internal links allow an individual field device to be monitored or bypassed, depending upon each link position.

Immediately any of the connected field devices are activated, the Monitor unit causes a common  lockout to occur on the TW15KS control unit and subsequently displays an appropriate
identification number on the control display. The individual field device which caused the "lockout", can be identified by the associated LED viewed through the Monitor front window.

The Monitor causes a non-latching "lockout" on the TW15KS system and will remain "locked out" until the field device returns to normal.
