Description
The WA-SWMB wallmount paging
speaker provides a clear audible output for voice paging,
background music and tone alerting. The sloping wall baffle is
one of the most rugged you can buy and the rugged construction
not only increases rigidity, but also eliminates baffle
resonance and sound distortion. The special acoustic
transparent grille cloth does not affect sound quality of
output.
The WA-SWMB is supplied in either a walnut or a
light oak finish to match most building interiors. The speaker
baffle is fitted with an 8" dia. damped edge dual cone speaker
rated at 15W which incorporates a 6oz. Isotropic magnet
capable of producing an SPL of 92dB.
The speaker
incorporates a 25mm. dia. voice coil that converts electrical
impulses into moving air particles and disperses the sound
over an angle of 90 degrees @ -6dB @ 1kHz. The speaker
has a frequency response of 50Hz to 15KHz nominal and provides
a measured SPL of 92dB on axis, @15W @ 1kHz
A 70v
4 watt transformer is fitted as standard with tap settings of
4, 2, 1, 1/2 & 1/4 W selectable by color codes leads.
The speaker has an open back design and incorporates a
keyslot on the back for wall mounting purposes.
