Weathermaster communication units are robust and versatile loudspeaker paging stations designed for industrial and arduous conditions.
Using a removable self sealing lid equipped with loudspeaker, microphone, Push to Talk (PTT)    button and  Press to Call (PTC) button,  parallel connected station can provide plant wide paging capability.  The PTC button can be used as a pre-alert signal providing a 1kHz call tone over the paging lines. Typically, cables are connected in a radial configuration and stations may include a Control Room Deskmaster unit. In this case the Weathermaster call tone can be used to call the Deskmaster, independent of the Weathermaster  stations.
The built-in loudspeaker can be enhanced by the use of an external re-entrant loudspeaker to a  maximum amplification of up to 15w. When used in very high noise locations. In addition the internal microphone is designed to eliminate high             extraneous background noise such as machinery etc. during simple one to one communication.
